Stephen is a Managing Director for SVN | Corporate Property Strategies and member of the Corporate Real Estate Services Team. He is a consultant and real estate professional creating value for corporations, private equity firms, governments, universities, healthcare systems, and non-profits through real estate optimization and portfolio management.
Stephen provides brokerage, valuation, and advisory services, including real estate analytics, market feasibility and highest/best use studies, economic development strategies, and strategic marketing plans that reimagine underproductive assets. Additionally, Stephen invests in development projects and is an advocate for education, food innovation, and healthcare, including JHU Carey’s CityLab initiative.
He has worked all over the country, in urban and rural places, and has built a diverse client base in commercial, industrial, residential, agricultural, governmental, and institutional sectors.
Stephen is co-developing and presenting symposia on Public and Private Asset Optimization and Place-Making Economic Development, with successful events in Seattle, Wilmington, Chicago, Boca Raton, Salisbury, Dover and academic partners like the University of Delaware, Perdue Business School at Salisbury University, Florida Atlantic University, University of Washington, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and Delaware State University.
Stephen is also co-innovating a new real estate product and tool (Corporate Real Estate Earnings Diagnostic or “CREED”) with SAP and JHU Carey on asset optimization and analytics.
Prior to SVN, Stephen worked with the JP Morgan Chase, Co., where he spent most of his time as an investment and business analyst in Asset Management and Retirement Plan Services.
He is a candidate for the M.S. Real Estate & Infrastructure Program at the Johns Hopkins University Carey Business School and completed a B.S. in Finance from the University of Delaware in 2011.
